Frank grew up in the state of Texas, and his passion for archery and bowhunting began there. Many a Whitetail deer and Rio Grande turkey fell to an arrow of his growing up. In his late teens and early twenties, he started venturing out west. It was here that he expanded his bowhunting skills and knowledge, hunting for things like American Elk, Mule deer, and Pronghorn antelope.
He has 220 Pope and Young Club record book animals to his credit and is the only bowhunter ever to complete two archery Super Slams of all North American big-game species. (He’s only one animal shy of his third archery Super Slam!)
Bowhunting has been a major part of his life for over 40 years. He chose a career and a state to live in, just for bowhunting. He became an airline pilot in 1990, moved to Alaska in 2001, and started flying small planes in Alaska, all for more bowhunting opportunities. He has been blessed, fortunate, and lucky on numerous bowhunting adventures over the years. He lives in Wasilla, Alaska, with his beautiful and supportive wife, Millie.
Frank Noska has been bowhunting Coues deer in Sonora, Mexico for nearly 20 years. He's entered 48 Coues deer into the Pope and Young record book and has spent enough time in a ground blind at a Sonoran water hole that the locals might know him better than some ranchers do.
He took his first group of hunters to Mexico in 2009. In the years since, he's refined everything- the blind locations, the chairs, the floor setups, the timing - so that his hunters walk in with the best possible odds. He travels to Sonora himself every December to scout and set blinds, weeks before any hunter arrives.
