I’ve bow hunted Coues deer with a couple other outfits previously, and with Frank’s operation for the past eight years. As a bowhunter, I sincerely admire and greatly appreciate the effort that Frank puts into creating the right conditions to improve a client’s chance of success. For an animal that is notorious for being exceptionally spooky and wired-tight, his knowledge, put into practice, is critical for the archery hunter. Frank’s background is well-known, with a lifetime of success taking hundreds of Pope & Young animals. That includes a staggering number of trophy Coues bucks (nearing 50 in total). Which means he’s become astute in creating blind set-ups that will work to the absolute best advantage for the bowhunter. He knows exactly what it takes to make it happen, in ways that few others do. As far as I know, his is one of the very few operations in Mexico catering almost exclusively to bowhunters. That level of specialization is rare, and to be cherished, in a hunting world dominated by firearm hunting outfits.

Since animal populations and trophy quality can quickly change locally, Frank works year-round to insure that his hunters have access to a variety of the most productive ranches in Sonora. As well as to have available a good variety of choices in hunt locations in any given week, so as to be ready to adapt to changing weather conditions and changing deer feeding and movement preferences. And Frank works his tail off to provide clients with the best camp experience possible on his ranches. More importantly, you will not find a better, more genuine & down-to-earth guy to spend a week bow-hunting with, in the remote deserts of Sonora Mexico.

I've hunted with Frank in his southern Sonora deer camps now for 15 consecutive seasons. Aside from two abnormally wet years with abundant water and vegetation that dispersed the deer widely and limited movement, I've had consistently excellent hunts and opportunities to take exceptional Coues deer and two desert mule deer, all from carefully placed and prepped ground blinds over a water or food source. Although I've hunted primarily with a rifle at longer ranges, most hunters have been successful with archery gear inside of 20 yards.

Camps are small, comfortable ranch houses, and the locally prepared food is a real treat. The camaraderie and new friendships are a big bonus with many returning hunters.

Frank's experience as a highly accomplished archer is evident in the preparation and planning that goes into every hunt. He continues to seek out new properties to provide the best opportunities for hunting success. I'm already looking forward to next January!

Hunting with Frank Noska down in Sonora is an unforgettable out-of-country hunting experience. Hunting on remote Mexican ranches feels like going back in time to simple living.

Frank’s team takes care of all your wants and needs at camp and in the field. Every night around the mesquite campfire, you can expect authentic Mexican food - always pico, guac, and chips to go along with the hunting stories from the day. Frank single-handedly sets every single blind up for success. From the placement and distance to the hunters’ preferences. It is all very personable and accommodating.

The wildlife you see from the blind is abundant! It is amazing to see how many animals live down there in the desert, as you get to watch them come from all over to visit the watering holes.

I can’t say enough good things about all the years I’ve been hunting in Mexico for coues deer with Frank Noska and the staff he has down there. It’s become a home for me. You never know what’s going to walk into the stands. Plus you going to eat like a king!! I just wanted to say thanks to the crew down there for all the hard work and preparations they do to make hunting there a pleasure!
